This applet is used to select the appropriate floor plate in mild steel to grade 43 according to Pounder's formulae.

The standard thickness of floor plates are used : 3.0, 4.5, 6.0, 8.0, 10.0, 12.5 and the maximum deflection is restricted to 1/50 of the breadth of support.
