This applet is used to calculate the required electric cable size according to IEE Regulation 16^th Edition.

Only the most often used cables (PVC-insulated cables and cables with thermosetting insulation) are included. The voltage drop is limited to 4% as per IEE Regulation and the overall factor is used. For other voltage drop limits or for more accurate calculation of volt drops,please refer to IEE Regulation.
